Appetite Study at the Oxford Brookes Centre for Nutrition and Health

The Oxford Brookes Centre for Nutrition and Health is conducting a study investigating the effects of a drink on appetite and food intake.

Are you a woman aged 18-65 years, with a BMI 25-35kg/m2, and no significant health problems or recent weight loss?

Do you eat regular meals and have not increased your physical activity levels in the past month?

If so, you may be eligible to take part in a study investigating the effects of a drink on appetite and food intake.

The study involves taking a 200ml test drink or placebo three times a day (i.e. before each main meal) for four weeks.

You will be required to visit the Oxford Brookes Centre for Nutrition and Health, Gipsy Lane Campus four times (one screening session and three test sessions).

Each test session will involve:

Measurements of hunger, appetite and body composition

Consumption of the test drink or placebo

Consumption of an ad libitum breakfast (eat as much as you would like)

Please see Appetite Study Recruitment Poster for supporting information.

Participants will receive £50 of Amazon vouchers on completion of the study.
