Explore the power of fibre optics with Fibercore’s lunchtime event

Fibercore’s resident technical expert, Dr Andy Gillooly, will be discussing product case studies exploring the power and versatility of fibre optics for the advancement of biomedical applications, which are part of the next wave of biomedical optical tools to hit the market and to disrupt and evolve the existing solutions.

Dr Andy Gillooly will cover:

– Micro optic assemblies for optical coherence tomography (OCT)

– Haptic force feedback for robotic and manual laparoscopy

– 3D shape sensing within catheters

– In-vivo pressure sensing
