Hear like an insect or build a star: visit the Oxfordshire Science Festival

Event date: Friday 16 June 2017

With everything from astronomy and atomic computers to X-rays and zebra fish, there will be plenty to experience at the Oxfordshire Science Festival from Friday 16 to Wednesday 21 June 2017.

All held in Oxford, there will be discussion events and entertainment to inspire debate and celebrate research and creativity in Oxfordshire. You will have a chance to hear like an insect or even build a star.

Alongside talks and performances, there will be more than 30 hands-on research exhibits which will present innovations from Oxford at the Oxford Town Hall, St Aldate’s.

The Town Hall event is on Saturday 17  & Sunday 18 June from 12 to 5pm and is a free, family-friendly event.

Oxfordshire Science Festival is produced in association with Science Oxford and is supported by University of Oxford, Oxford Brookes University, local industry and research institutes.
